16 new funds established

16 new funds were established with CFO and its affiliates since July 1. Of those funds, 15 are held by regional affiliate foundations.

Bolivar Area Community Foundation

Hickory Grove Cemetery Association Benson Euliss Memorial Fund – The Hickory Grove Cemetery Association established this endowment fund for the public beautification and historic preservation of the Hickory Grove Cemetery located in Polk County, and also in memory of Benson Euliss.

Polk County Humane Society Fund* – This capacity building fund was established to support the no-kill animal shelter, the Polk County Humane Society. The Polk County Humane Society is a new Agency Partner.

Roy Blunt YMCA of Bolivar Endowment Fund* – The Ozarks Regional YMCA/Roy Blunt YMCA of Bolivar established this endowment fund for long-term funding for the Bolivar branch.

Butler County Community Foundation

Butler County Council on Aging Fund* – The Butler County Council on Aging created this capacity building fund to support their important work. The Butler County Council on Aging is a new Agency Partner.

Butler County Historical Society Fund* – This capacity building fund was established to help meet the needs of the Butler County Historical Society. The Butler County Historical Society is a new Agency Partner.

Community Foundation of the Ozarks

Mabel Moore Housley Memorial Scholarship Fund – Mary Cross established this scholarship fund in memory of her aunt. It will award to Marshall, Arkansas High School graduating seniors pursuing an education degree with a preference for elementary majors.

Community Foundation of Southwest Missouri, Inc.

Carthage Historic Preservation Capacity Building Fund *– This organizational fund was established by Carthage Historic Preservation, Inc. and will support its work.

Financial Advisors Fund – The Four State Edward Jones Financial Advisors established this corporate grantmaking fund to assist them with their charitable giving in the four state area.

Houston Community Foundation

Houston Alumni Fund* – The Houston High School Alumni Association established this capacity building fund to assist with its projects and programs. The Houston Alumni Association is a new Agency Partner.

Lockwood Community Foundation

Lockwood Community Foundation Administrative Fund – This endowment fund was established for Lockwood Community Foundation’s administrative and operational costs.

Monett Area Community Foundation

Monett Area YMCA Endowment Fund* – The Ozarks Regional YMCA/Monett Area YMCA established this endowment fund for long-term funding for their facility and programming.

Ozark County Community Foundation

Gainesville Industrial Development Donor Advised Fund – The Gainesville Industrial Corporation established this fund to promote economic and commercial development in and around Gainesville.

Table Rock Lake Community Foundation

Nita Jane Ayres Donor Advised Fund – This fund was established by Nita Jane Ayres to assist her and simplify her charitable gift planning. Nita Jane Ayres is also a new member of CFO’s Legacy Society, having made a planned gift.

Taney County Community Foundation

Jim Langham Rotary Professional Development Fund – Belinda Langham established this designated fund in memory of her husband to send teachers from the Hollister and/or Branson school districts to the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics annual conferences.

Ozark Mountain Family YMCA Fund* – The Ozarks Regional YMCA/Ozark Mountain Family YMCA established this endowment fund for long-term funding for the facility in Hollister.

Truman Lake Community Foundation

Bill J. and Patricia A. Burgess Fund – Mr. and Mrs. Burgess established this designated endowment fund to support Twin Lakes Hospice. Grants will be for the benefit of Henry County hospice patients.
