Kathy Lasley

Kathy Lasley is originally from Mobile, Alabama. In 1972 she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Education from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro. In May 1996, she earned her Master of Science degree in Business Education from Southwest Missouri State University in Springfield. Kathy was in the education field for 22 years—two years at Golden City High School, 10 years at Gibson Technical Center in Reeds Spring, seven years at Salem High School, and three years at Cuba High School. Kathy retired from teaching in May 2007.

After retirement, Kathy became a member of Viva Cuba in 2007 and the Crawford County Foundation in 2008 and has been the president of the foundation since 2009. As a breast cancer survivor, Kathy’s charitable interests include giving and participating in the Relay for Life each year.
Kathy has been married to Doug Lasley since September 1, 1972. They have two daughters (Jaime and Brooke) and one grandson Noah. Kathy’s passions are photography, drama, and learning American Sign Language; she loves to sign songs in her church.
