Who We Are

HCCWF presented grants to local agencies prior to the Heritage Christmas Parade.

The HCCWF is a vehicle for charitable giving capable of benefiting the entire community in Hickory County. Our foundation is made up of a group of community volunteers from both community organizations and community members. Through the mechanism of endowment funds, charitably minded individuals can establish funds to build a permanent source of charitable assets to meet the emerging and existing needs of the community.

Fundraising efforts within the community include: Annual 5K Run, held in June 2016; Harlem Ambassadors Basketball Game, 2013; Hickory County Fair; charity golf tournaments; plate lunches; and the Launch Little Kickers Soccer League.

Here are a few groups in the community that we have assisted through community fundraiser partnerships and community grant efforts in both funding and equipment:

  • Hickory County Farmers Market
  • Hickory County Historical Society
  • Hickory County Library
  • Friends of the Weaubleau Park
  • Hickory County Volunteer Fire Departments
  • West Central Community Action Agency-Wheatland
  • Hickory County Fire and Rescue
  • McCarty Senior Center
  • Hickory County Health Department
  • Hickory County Teen Outreach Programs
  • Prairie Chapel United Methodist Church
  • Hermitage Head Start
  • Four Legs & Fur
  • Hickory County C.A.R.E.S
