CFO offering new service to promote planned giving
Community Foundation of the Ozarks is committed to assisting our endowment partners with building a planned giving program to support their organization. As part of that commitment to our valued partners, we are pleased to announce a new service available to your organization and your donors. We are introducing a planned giving newsletter that will be distributed weekly via email. This newsletter will assist you in developing thoughtful planned giving strategies to support your organization as well as provide updates on legislative action that may impact financial and charitable matters.
Sign up to receive this newsletter on the web at http://cfozarks.giftlegacy.com/contact.jsp?P=2&WebID=GL2008-1187. Or just reply to this email and we’ll take care of it for you.
We hope that this newsletter along with our enhanced donor services website will assist you and your potential donors in considering planned charitable giving in support of your organization. I think that you also will enjoy the wide variety of Ozarks’ stories that appear on our website, www.cfozarks.org. This is just another aspect of our efforts to promote philanthropy throughout our region.
Please remember that my CFO staff members are always happy to visit with you about your charitable goals. Please feel free to contact us at any time.
2008 – 2009 Endowment Building Grants
The Community Foundation of the Ozarks will once again accept proposals from our Endowment Partners for the annual targeted Endowment Building Grant Program. This project is designed to provide grants through which your organization can apply for monies that are directly targeted at supporting your efforts to plan for, develop, and implement their endowment-building programs.
The grants made available through this project will be up to $1000, using a peer review panel format for making individual awards. Applications for the Endowment Partners Endowment Building grants are due in the CFO office no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, August 8, 2008.
CFO would also like to request your input for topics for our upcoming Essential Questions series. We are now in the process of developing the next series of presentations, and it is essential that we receive input from our partners about topics you feel would be helpful.
Links to additional information and the online application for the Endowment Building along with the Essential Questions input forum can be found on the front page of our web site at www.cfozarks.org.
Community Foundation of the Ozarks offers this monthly update as a service to our 300+ agency partners throughout the Ozarks. As partners in our regional effort to enrich and better the lives of people throughout the region, we strive to keep you informed of the opportunities important to your organization. If you would like for other members of your staff, board, donors, or other key role players with your organization to receive these updates, just let us know by sending the name and email address to firstname.lastname@example.org.
