The CFO invites our nonprofit Agency Partners to consider application to The Learning Community program. This educational opportunity is a unique cohort for 10 nonprofit agencies and is free to Agency Partners based on a competitive application basis (see application).
The Learning Community is an intensive, 10-month training effort that begins in October. These agencies participate in four day-long educational sessions, one-on-one training, and customized materials for each organization. Educational topics include financial resiliency, resource development, board involvement, and marketing, mission, and vision statement work.
The Learning Community is in its second year and received rave reviews from participants in last year’s program. Many participants found the combination of day-long training combined with one-on-one, on-site training at each agency to be a valuable combination that inspired true, positive change in their programs.
Learning Community applications are due Friday, Sept. 14, 2012 at 5 p.m.
