Accounting Clerk

• The Accounting Clerk reports to the Chief Financial Officer

• The Accounting Clerk provides support for a variety of financial and accounting duties related to the maintenance and review of the Foundation’s accounting, financial and statistical records. Other assignments will be defined as required.

• The Accounting Clerk has the following financial responsibilities:
o Records daily cash receipts log, emails to staff
o Prepares accounts payable for approval, runs edit lists, issues checks
o Reviews and enters transaction activity for outside managed funds, reconciles accounts, requests distributions and fees
o Calculates and prepares annuity payments (monthly and quarterly), prepares letters to payees
o Maintains records for life insurance policies, tracks values, pays premiums
o Tracks direct deposit gifts and ACH debits for Accounts Payable
o Produces confirmations for agency funds
o tracking corporate registrations and fictitious name filings

• The Accounting Clerk has the following other responsibilities:
o assists with annual audit and 990 preparation
o assists with quarterly statement production and mailing
