CFO donors come together for education efforts

This week’s CFO Community column in the Springfield News-Leader is about our donor education efforts. The CFO’s Donor Services department is dedicated to meeting the needs of our donors, as well as helping them become more engaged with the community they serve.

This month, the CFO hosted representatives from five agencies focusing on family violence and child abuse — CASA of Southwest Missouri, Harmony House, the Child Advocacy Center, The Victim Center, and Isabel’s House — who shared their missions and answered donors’ questions. The results: Several dozen CFO donors walked a way of how organizations with seemingly overlapping missions actually work closely and capably, and together provide a continuum of care for the people of southwest Missouri.

The CFO’s column runs weekly in rotation with other organizations on the News-Leader’s Community page, which is published daily. We appreciate this opportunity to share our work with News-Leader readers across the region.
