CFO grant committees make the important, sometimes difficult decisions

This week’s Community Foundation of the Ozarks focuses on the CFO’s grant committee structure, and the volunteers who make the decisions about where to allot the foundation’s grantmaking resources. In the column, volunteer committee chairs Bud Greve and new panel member Jay Dade talk about how the committees go about the process, and the sometimes “gut-wrenching” decisions that become necessary when only a portion of the total grant requests can be made.

You can read the column, authored by Louise Knauer, CFO’s Senior Vice President of Communications and Marketing, here.

The CFO’s column runs weekly in rotation with other organizations on the News-Leader’s new Community page, which is published daily. We appreciate this opportunity to share our work with News-Leader readers across the region.
