Vivian Leon Fund for the Musical Arts

The Vivian Leon Fund for the Musical Arts was established by the Missouri Southern International Piano Competition to honor Mrs. Vivian Leon, the longtime director of MSIPC. The goal of the fund is to encourage and assist in the presentation of classical music with an emphasis on piano performance. Eligible applicants are 501(c)3 not-for-profit organizations, schools and colleges that offer classical music programs with an emphasis on piano performance to the community and schools in Jasper and Newton Counties.

The Vivian Leon Fund makes grants once a year. The next round will be in Spring2018.


Cassville Community accepts grant applications from June 1st to September 1st.   Not-for profit 501(c)3 organizations that serve Cassville and its surrounding area are invited to apply.

The grant application deadline is September 1st.  Organizations that submit a written application will be required to present their proposal to the granting committee in mid-September.  Those selected for grant funding will be contacted by late September and are requested to attend a special check presentation in late October.

Community Development Fund (CDF)

2017 Grant Application Period is Open

The members of the Ste. Genevieve County Community Development Fund Review Committee recently announced the application period for 2017 CDF and EDF grant applications. Grant applications must be postmarked by December 31, 2016 to be considered for the 2017 grant review cycle. Eligible grant applicants include government entities and not-for-profit organizations serving the residents and communities of Ste. Genevieve County. Nonprofit organizations must enclosed a copy of their federal IRS 501(c)3 letter issued in the name of the organization. Organizations who have received past grant funds will need to submit their expense reports before completing a new grant application. 2017 Grant applications may be obtained at the Ste. Genevieve County Courthouse or downloaded below.

The Ste. Genevieve County Community Development Fund is a program made possible through a generous donation by Holcim (US) Inc. The fund addresses important community needs through a yearly round of grants. Each year, the fund awards grants to community nonprofits and governmental agencies for programs and initiatives that address issues ranging from public safety to health and human services.

Applications for the fall Stockton Community Foundation grant cycle will be accepted beginning March 15.

Deadline for applications is 5 p.m. May 1, and the grant committee will review them no later than May 15.

Applications must be through a 501(c)3 or taxing entity, so collaboration is encouraged. Some of the different programs funded in the past include the Tiger Tasters Backpack Program, Stockton Trails Initiative Coalition, special education classroom, Korth Senior Center, Parents as Teachers, Stockton Area Ministerial Alliance, accelerated reading program and many more.

Table Rock Lake

The primary role for the Table Rock Lake Community Foundation (TRLCF) is to establish endowed funds for the purpose of funding a community grant-making program, which addresses the most important needs of the community at any given time. This flexibility is made possible by charitable donors who have established funding programs and have placed the decision-making action in the hands of community leaders serving on the TRLCF Board of Directors. The Truman Lake Community Foundation supports organizations and projects serving the Henry County and Truman Lake area.
