This CFO Scholarship Directory is now FULLY UPDATED for scholarships to be awarded for the 2017-18 academic year
DEADLINES vary – see individual applications for the respective scholarship deadline.
The Community Foundation of the Ozarks (CFO) is proud to administer some 390 scholarships as a service to the greater community. Most of the scholarship grant awards are for graduating high school seniors; however, a growing number are available to students currently enrolled in college/university. Eligibility is most often determined by residency in a particular city or county in the Community Foundation of the Ozarks’ geographical service area (south of the Missouri River, outside of the Kansas City and St. Louis metropolitan areas.) The scholarships available as of February 1, 2017 will be awarded in Spring of 2017 — for the 2017-18 college academic year.
Applicants should please note that the Community Foundation of the Ozarks Scholarship funds are a varied group, and are in no way representative of all of the CFO; nor are they able to capture the many different populations of those applying for scholarships. Donors who establish scholarships have different histories and interests and therefore their respective scholarship criteria is reflective of that history. The Community Foundation of the Ozarks encourages students applying for scholarships to be sure that they meet ALL the donor’s requirements for eligibility, before filling out an application.
All CFO scholarships, as well as colleges/universities, require your current Free Application for Federal Student Aid – Expected Family Contribution (FAFSA-EFC) when applying for financial aid. To access the FAFSA website: http://www.fafsa.ed.gov
