Dade County OACAC receives $2500 grant

The Dade County OACAC neighborhood center received a $2,500 from Randy Meets and the Greenfield Pharmacy via the DACO Community Foundation.

The money will be used to provide services to uninsured or under insured residents of Dade County. The services include: medications, doctor’s visits, dental visits, transportation to various visits. Services provided will be on a one on one basis through the OACAC. Census figures show that 16.2% of 7,845 residents or 484 individuals of Dade County are uninsured.
