Dallas County Community Foundation raises $25K for Cooper Campaign

On Tuesday, March 11, 2008 the Dallas County Community Foundation announced that they have raised the $25,000 to be matched through the Harry Cooper Supply Company Campaign for the Ozarks. Gary Funk, president of the Community Foundation of the Ozarks, presented a check for $25,000 at the event for the matching funds. The Buffalo Rotary Club established the Buffalo Rotary Club Davis and Mallory Memorial Fund, an unrestricted grantmaking fund, to meet the challenge.

The Harry Cooper Supply Company Campaign for the Ozarks is a dollar for dollar challenge grant in partnership with the Community Foundation of the Ozarks that is part of an overall regional effort to enhance community grantmaking endowments, establish administrative/operations endowments, and promote appropriate and best practices by community foundation board of directors. This initiative is made possible through the generosity of the Harry Cooper Supply Company.
