The Youth Empowerment Project (YEP) of the Ozarks has grown significantly this fiscal year. The concept of youth philanthropy and local involvement has excited many young community leaders in our region. There are now fourteen YEP organizations in the Ozarks area.
We would like to extend our congratulations to three Youth Empowerment Projects who joined the YEP of the Ozarks network this winter. The Eldon High School Youth Empowerment Project, the Dadeville High School YEP, and the Stockton Teen Empowerment Project have established Youth Empowerment Projects and have already begun impacting their small communities. In fact, the Dadeville Youth Empowerment Project has already provided a $350 grant to the Dadeville school music department. This grant will help the Dadeville music department purchase music equipment in order to continue to provide culture through music to the Dadeville community.
