We are proud to announce that the Marshfield Area Community Foundation and the CFO’s Give Ozarks Day online fundraising campaign were honored with National Philanthropy Day awards for 2015 by the Ozarks chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.

At a luncheon on Tuesday at Highland Springs, the MACF and the CFO — along with seven other organizations, businesses and individuals — were recognized and invited to say a few words.

In accepting the award for Outstanding Foundation, MACF board president Chuck Replogle thanked the organization’s volunteer leadership, donors and the Marshfield community, which has helped the foundation amass more than $1.2 million in assets since its inception in 2005.

“There have been many individuals who have labored and sacrificed for 10 years to get us where we are today,” Replogle said. “The citizens of the Marshfield area have stepped up and partnered with us in our mission in the hope that our community will have a brighter future.  We are honored to be regionally recognized for the work being done in our community because there are so many who deserve to be acknowledged for the roles they have played.”

CFO President Brian Fogle accepted the Outstanding Fundraising Campaign/Event award for Give Ozarks on behalf of the CFO staff, and thanked the nonprofits and donors who made the area’s first 24-hour, online giving day a $1 million success.

The CFO and MACF would like to thank the AFP and those who nominated us for these awards. A full list of winners of the 2015 National Philanthropy Day awards can be found online.
