New Funds Friday: Aug. 29

As often as possible, we like to share the news of new groups and individuals choosing to make philanthropic gifts and investments in their community. AIDS Project of the Ozarks 340b Fund – This fund will assist the Aids Project of the Ozarks as it serves a 29 county region providing case management services to those affected with HIV/AIDSand their families. They are a new Agency Partner in the social services category.

AIDS Project of the Ozarks Permanent Endowment Fund – This fund will provide long-term, sustainable funding for the APO.

All Saints Anglican Church Endowment Fund I – This endowemnt shall support the work of the All Saints Anglican Church in Springfield, Mo. They are a new Agency Partner in the faith category.

All Saints Anglican Church Endowment Fund II – This endowment fund will also support the work of the church.

John D. Bentley Endowment Fund of the Jordan Valley Community Health Center (BNTLYE) – This designated endowment fund will support the Jordan Valley Health Center. Dr. Bentley established it today with a $1,000 gift.

Berger Family Scholarship Fund – This fund will support the Waynesville R-VI School District as established by Dr. Chris Berger. This is fund is also part of the Waynesville R-VI School Foundation.

Bill and Pat Delano Fund – This fund will grant to organizations furthering early childhood education and development. Mrs. Delano is also a new member of the Legacy Society.

Care to Learn – St. Louis Fund – This fund will support health, hunger and hygiene emergency needs for students of the St. Louis School District.

D.O.W. Camp Fund – This fund supports camping opportunities for youth from Douglas, Ozark and Wright counties. It is part of the Douglas County University of Missouri Extension. This is a new Agency Partner in the youth category as a regional fund.

The Five Loaves Foundation – This fund will support the road fund in St. Clair County, the fire service in Washington Township and the FFA Chapter at Osceola High School.

Gravelin Scholarship Fund – Matthew Gravelin established this scholarship to help with higher education costs for those who have been affected by a life-changing traumatic event.

Gravelin Nursing Scholarship Fund – This scholarship established by Matthew Gravelin will assist students pursuing a nursing degree.

Wayne and Vivian Hart Charitable Fund – This fund will help support the CFO’s discretionary grantmaking.

Republic Paw Pantry Fund – This fund will help prevent animals from being abandoned or surrendered due to financial crisis by providing temporary assistance of food and/or supplies to families. This is a component fund of the Republic Community Foundation. They are a new Agency Partner in the environment/animals category.

Southern Missouri Bank of Marshfield – Ben H. Morgan Memorial Fund – This fund will help enhance the quality of life in the Marshfield area. Southern Mo. Bank started this fund and as part of their sponsorship for Boots, Bands, & BBQ. This is a component fund of the Marshfield Area Community Foundation.

Southwest MO AITP Scholarship Fund – The Southwest MO Association of Information Technology Professionals established this scholarship fund for students of members and those pursuing degrees in technology.

Trotter Family Foundation – Yates and Janet Trotter established this fund as part of their estate plan. It will benefit the Westminster Presbyterian Church, Drury University, Springfield Symphony, University of the Ozarks in Clarksville, Ark. and the Foundation for Springfield Public Schools.

The Two Fishes Fund – This fund will assist with current giving.
