New Funds Friday: Dec. 14-Jan. 3

As often as possible, we like to share the news of new groups and individuals choosing to make philanthropic gifts and investments in their community. Ash Grove Fund – This family fund established by the Hulston Family will allow the family to make grant recommendations.

Clinton Christian Academy Scholarship Endowment Fund – This fund will hold funds for the academy for student scholarships who need help with tuition. It is a component of the Truman Lake Community Foundation.

Jerre and Lloyd Edwards Memorial Scholarship Fund – Russ Edwards and Jane Mellers established this scholarship fund in memory and honor of their parents.

Robert & Amanda Foster Fund – This family and community fund will help the Fosters streamline their charitable giving. It is a component of the Marshfield Area Community Foundation.

Great Missouri Birding Trail Fund – This fund will help the Birding Trail website reach birders around the state, country and world as they work toward conservation and education. This is a component of the Crawford County Foundation.

Independent Living Center, Inc. Fund – This fund will help the organization as they meet the needs of individuals with disabilities and serve them, their families and communities. It is a component of the Community Foundation of Southwest Missouri, and they are a new Agency Partner in the social services category.

I Pour Life Fund – This fund will assist as I Pour Life helps at risk women and children in developing nations improve their lives. This is a new Agency Partner in the social services category.

Just Call Me Ray Foundation – Jayson and Raylene Hollrah established this family and community fund to support their philanthropic needs. It is a component of the Community Foundation of the Hermann Area.

Let’s Dance Fund – Neva and Bill Schroder established this fund to provide dancing opportunities for health and fitness at a low cost to the entire community.

Loving Hands Preschool Fund – This fund will help support the preschool as it provides affordable daycare services to local children. It is a new Agency Partner in the youth category, and is a component of the Community Foundation of the Lake.

Rising Abilities Fund – This fund assists with the traveling camp that provides a safe, educational and fun environment for campers with special needs utilizing the resources at the Bennett Spring State Park. They are a new Agency Partner in the social services category.

Arch W. Shaw Foundation Generous Community Fund – This fund established by the Arch W. Shaw Foundation will support the CFO’s operational needs.

Arch W. Shaw Foundation Fund – This fund will support the OMC Foundation with operating expenses.

Thelma M. Stanley Scholarship Fund – This scholarship fund was established by the Stanley family and it will award to a Carthage High School senior pursuing a degree in education. It is component of the Carthage Community Foundation.
