New Funds Friday: Jan. 25-Feb. 21

As often as possible, we like to share the news of new groups and individuals choosing to make philanthropic gifts and investments in their community. Aurora Park Board Fund – This fund will support the parks in Aurora, Mo. Distributions will be made to the City of Aurora. It makes the City of Aurora/Aurora Park Board a new Agency Partner in the community development category and is a component of the Aurora Area Community Foundation.

IsoNova Scholarship Fund – IsoNova Technologies LLC established this scholarship which will award to dependents of employees.

Jesus Was Homeless Fund – This fund will support the mission to serve individuals and families that are hungry, homeless and hurting from all backgrounds. It is a component fund of the Community Foundation of Taney County and is a new Agency Partner in the social services category.

Morgan Family Scholarship Fund – Henry and Sandie Morgan established this scholarship which will assist an English major entering his/her junior or senior year at Missouri Southern State University. It is a component of the Community Foundation of Southwest Missouri.

Route 66 SGF Fund – The City of Springfield established this fund to support capturing Springfield’s role in Route 66. It will distribute to the City of Springfield. This makes the City of Springfield a new Agency Partner in the community development category.

Benton County Community Foundation Scholarship Fund – This scholarship fund established by the BCCF board of directors will assist a student from each Benton County high school with a preference for those pursing vocational/technical studies. This is a component of the Benton County Community Foundation.

Zechman Family Docs Vs. Jocks Fund – The OMC Foundation established this fund to support financial needs of pediatric rehabilitation patients, which were previously funded by the Docs vs. Jocks basketball game.

Zechman Family Docs vs. Jocks Endowment Fund – This endowment fund established by the OMC Foundation will also support of the needs of pediatric rehabilitation patients.

Hickory County CARES Fund  – This fund will assist the organization as it provides nutrition to families in need. This is a component of the Hickory County Community Improvement Foundation.
