New Funds Friday: Jan 4-24

As often as possible, we like to share the news of new groups and individuals choosing to make philanthropic gifts and investments in their community. Amethyst Training Center Fund – This fund will assist the training academy in funding educational, fine arts and entrepreneurial projects for teens in Springfield.

Jim & Janet Anderson Family Fund – This family and community fund will assist the Andersons in their charitable giving.

Care to Learn – Sparta Fund – This fund will assist Sparta students with health, hunger and hygiene emergency issues.

Jerry D. and Patricia W. Hall Family Fund – This fund will assist Mrs. Hall’s family with their giving. It is a component of the Monett Area Community Foundation.

Jerry D. and Patricia W. Hall Family Unrestricted Fund – Mrs. Patricia Hall established this fund to benefit the Monett Area Community Foundation’s grantmaking.

Jerry D. Hall Computer Science/Technology Scholarship Fund –This scholarship fund will benefit a Monett High School student pursuing higher education in the computer science or technology fields. It is a component of the Monett Area Community Foundation.

Harps for the Heart Fund – This fund provides live harp music at the bedside for those in need. They are a new Agency Partner in the social services category.

Korth Senior Center Endowment Fund – This fund will support the long-term work of the senior center. It is a component of the Stockton Community Foundation.

Thomas Ligon Memorial Athletic Scholarship Fund – Thomas’ parents, Don and Bobbie, established this scholarship which will award to an Ozark High School student who has been an athlete and will continue that into college. It is a component of the Finley River Community Foundation.

Marshfield Junior High Youth Empowerment Fund – This fund will support youth programming in the Marshfield area. It also establishes a new Youth Empowerment Project chapter. It is a component of the Marshfield Area Community Foundation.

Mountain Grove Youth Empowerment Fund – This fund will grant to youth-driven philanthropic activities in the Mountain Grove area. This is a new Youth Empowerment Project chapter, and is a component of the Mtn. Grove Community Foundation.

Mt. Vernon Baseball/Softball Parks Fund – The Mountaineer Baseball Softball Association established this fund to accept donations to improve the ball fields. It is part of the Mt. Vernon Area Community Foundation.

Romance Raffle Fund – This fund established by the Marshfield Rotary Club and the Marshfield Area Community Foundation will support community needs with each organization advising half of the fund.

Serve Eldon Fund – This fund will grant to the First Christian Church or other churches to provide for practical acts of community service and betterment for the people of Eldon. It is a component of the Eldon Community Foundation.
