New Funds Friday: Jan. 5-11

Every Friday, we share the news of new groups and individuals choosing to make philanthropic gifts and investments in their community. You can read more about types of funds available at CFO here. Hearld and Marjorie Ambler Generous Community Fund – This fund will support the Generous Community Initiative as the CFO celebrates its 40th anniversary.

Care to Learn – Ozark Intermediate Fund – This fund will continue to support the health, hunger and hygiene of Ozark school student. It is a component of Finley River Community Foundation.

Care to Learn – Ozark Endowment Fund – This fund will provide long-term and permanent support for the Care to Learn Ozark program. It is a component of the Finley River Community Foundation.

Joe Paul Evans Recognition Fund – The City of West Plains established this fund to honor the late mayor, Joe Paul Evans. This is a component fund of the Community Foundation of West Plains, and makes the City of West Plains a new Agency Partner in the community development category.

Linda and Deborah Pyle Memorial Scholarship Fund – EJ Pyle established this scholarship fund in memory and honor of his daughters who both graduated from Eldon High School. It will award to a student with financial need. Its a component of the Eldon Community Foundation.

Saint Paul United Methodist Church Endowment Fund – This fund will support the work of the church. They are a new Agency Partner in the faith category and this is a component fund of the Community Foundation of Southwest Missouri.

Westlake Medical Center Fund – This fund will support the work of the medical center in Laurie, Mo. This is a component fund of the Community Foundation of the Lake, and is a new Agency Partner in the health category.
