New Funds Friday: June 1-15

Every Friday, we share the news of new groups and individuals choosing to make philanthropic gifts and investments in their community. You can read more about types of funds available at CFO here. Bakersfield School Foundation Fund – This fund will support the programs and projects of the Bakersfield School District. This is a component of the Ozark County Community Foundation.

Bakersfield School Foundation Endowment Fund – This fund will assist with long term funding for the Bakersfield School District. This is a component fund of the Ozark County Community Foundation.

Hall of Carthage Heroes Fund – William C. Putnam, Jr. established this fund for the purpsoe of construction of the Hall of Carthage Heroes in the Kent and Mary Steadley Fair Acres Family YMCA in Carthage, Mo. This is a component of the Carthage Community Foundation.

Kaeding –Winter Scholarship Fund – The Maries County RII School District established this scholarship fund. It is a component fund of the Meramec Regional Community Foundation.

Marvin and Lucile Silliman Family Foundation – This family and community fund will help Mr. and Mrs. Silliman streamline their charitable giving. This is a component fund of the Community Foundation of the Lake.

Sugarloaf Community and Education Fund – This fund, established by the Sugarloaf advisory committee, the Rural School and Community Trust’s Center for Midwestern Initiatives, and the Rural Community Alliance, will support community and public education-based projects and programs.

Jay Ward Youth Athletics Fund – The family of Jay Ward established this fund in his memory. It will support youth athletics in the Mountain Grove and Branson areas. This is a component fund of the Mtn. Grove Area Community Foundation.

Youth of the Ozarks Fund – This fund will support the Youth of the Ozarks Thrift Store which currently provides funds to Boys and Girls Clubs of Springfield, the BSA Ozark Trails Council and the Girl Scouts of the Missouri Heartland.
