New Funds Friday: March 13

As often as possible, we like to share the news of new groups and individuals choosing to make philanthropic gifts and investments in their community. 30th Anniversary Campaign Fund – This fund, established by the Springfield Ballet, will hold monies for their upcoming 30th anniversary.

Arc of the Ozarks Endowment Fund – This fund is established as part of the Give Ozarks matching opportunity to support Arc’s work.

The Beautiful Mind Fund – Greg and Debbie DeLong established this field of interest fund in honor of their wedding. It will grant to agencies who meet the needs associated with mental illness.

Bourbon Boosters Unrestricted Capacity Fund – This fund will assist the Club which was established in 1948 for the purpose of promoting the city of Bourbon and the health and welfare of its citizens. It is a component of the Bourbon Community Foundation.

Bread of Life Marshfield Christian Church Fund – This fund will help the church provide food to those in need in Webster county through the Bread of Life ministry and in partnership with Ozarks Food Harvest. This is a component of the Marshfield Area Community Foundation.

CAPS Fund – This fund will support the Greater Ozarks Center for Advanced Professional Studies (GO CAPS) which is a partnership between Springfield Public Schools, 10 area school districts and the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce to address career readiness.

Care to Learn – Bradleyville Endowment Fund – This fund will support the long term emergency health, hunger and hygiene needs of Bradleyville students.

Care to Learn – Ozark Anonymous Fund – This fund will support emergency health, hunger and hygiene needs of Ozark students.

CCC Short Term Operational Fund – Carthage Crisis Center established this fund to help with more immediate operational needs. This is a component of the Carthage Community Foundation.

Coday Family Scholarship Fund – Joseph C. Coday and Jean C. Coday established this scholarship fund that will award to a graduate of Mansfield High School pursuing a two or four year degree at a Missouri higher education institution. It is a component fund of the Greater Seymour Area Foundation.

Ella Dickey Memorial Endowment Fund – This fund will support the work of the Webster County Historical Society. It is a component of the Marshfield Area Community Foundation.

Eldon Lions Club Scholarship Endowment Fund –  Established by the Eldon Lions Club, this scholarship will assist students with higher education costs. It is is a component of the Eldon Community Foundation.

El Dorado Springs Bright Futures Fund – This fund will support of the Bright Futures Connections for Success in the El Dorado Springs area. This is a component of the El Dorado Springs Community Foundation.

Eminence Area Arts Council Fund – This fund will support arts programming, outreach, education, etc. in the Eminence area.

Donald R. Farwell Memorial Scholarship Fund – This fund established by Mr. Farwell’s son, Wildon R. Farwell, MD, MPH, will assist a Republic High School in the top 25% of his/her class pursuing higher education. It is a component of the Republic Community Foundation.

Fit For The Master Fund – Jeffrey Waara established this fund to support the feeding program in Mountain Grove. It is a component of the Mountain Grove Area Community Foundation.

Food for Morgan County Fund – This fund will help provide food for the Morgan County residents (Versailles, MO) in need. It is a component fund of the Community Foundation of the Lake.

Gasconade County Disaster Relief Fund – This fund will assist eligible nonprofits as a resource for disaster related efforts. It is a component of the Meramec Regional Community Foundation.

Greene County Extension Education Fund – This fund is established as part of the Give Ozarks program and will support the extension center’s work.

Greenville R-II School Foundation Fund – This fund will support the school district’s activities and programs.

Greenville R-II School Foundation Endowment Fund – This fund will assist the district with long term needs.

Henry County Library Fund – This fund will support the work of the library. It is a component of the Truman Lake Community Foundation.

Hickory County Farmers Market Fund – This fund will support the market’s mission to increase access to healthy food for Hickory County residents. It is a component of the Hickory County Community Improvement Foundation.

Historic Hermann, Inc. Gift Fund – This fund will help preserve the area’s history. It is a component fund of the Community Foundation of the Hermann Area.

Ideas Implemented, Inc. Fund – This fund will grant to qualified entities to support a philanthropic think tank helping in such areas as foster care, education, medical, health and nutrition, veteran’s affairs and mental health.

Ingenuity Scholarship Fund – The Valle Schools Foundation established this organizational endowment fund.

Isabel’s House Endowment #2 Fund– This endowment fund is established as part of Give Ozarks. It will assist as the organization provides crisis nursery services for our community.

Joplin NALA Endowment Fund – This fund will assist with long term literacy efforts for the organization. This is a component of the Community Foundation of Southwest Missouri.

K-9 Dog Training Project Fund – This fund established by the City of Sarcoxie will assist with the new dog training project. It is a component of the Sarcoxie Community Foundation.

Lake Arts Council Fund– This fund will support the work of the council as it nurtures art at the Lake of the Ozarks. It is a component fund of the Community Foundation of the Lake.

Mildred Lewis Memorial Scholarship Endowment Fund – Three Rivers Endowment Trust established this endowment to support their organization.

Liv A Life of Love Scholarship Fund – This scholarship established by Angela Rose in honor and memory of her daughter, Olivia. This is a component fund of the Republic Community Foundation.

Lockwood Ministerial Food Pantry Fund – This fund established by the Lockwood United Methodist Church will help feed those in need. This is a Give Ozarks Fund, and is part of the Lockwood Community Foundation.

Masters Peace Clinic of Hope Fund – This fund will support the work of the new medical clinic serving the working poor. It is a component of the Dent County CF.

Masters Peace Clinic of Hope Endowment Fund – This fund will assist with long term goals of the health clinic. It is a component of Dent County Community Foundation.

Ralph D. McPherson Scholarship Fund – The Ralph D. McPherson Alumni Scholarship Fund committee established this scholarship fund for Forsyth students. Mr. McPherson is a past Forsyth educator and superintendent. This is a component fund of the Community Foundation of Taney County.

Logan Middleton Sportsmanship Scholarship Fund – The Middleton family established this scholarship in honor and memory of Logan. It will award to a senior participating in the Blue and Gold basketball tournament pursuing higher education. This is a component fund of the Nixa Education Foundation and the Nixa Community Foundation.

Mid Ozarks CASA Endowment Fund – This fund was established as part of the endowment match for Give Ozarks and will support Mid Ozarks CASA. This is a component fund of the Bourbon Community Foundation.

Missouri Forget Me Not Horse Rescue/Sanctuary Fund – This fund will assist as they provide aid and sanctuary to abused, neglected, abandoned or donated horses. This is a component of the Community Foundation of the Lake.

Mother’s Shrine Fund – This fund established by the Mary Mother of the Church Shrine which is a tribute to all mothers and motherhood. This is a component of the Community Foundation of the Lake.

NEAT Fund (Nature Educational Art Trails) – This fund established by the Stockton Community Foundation will support permanent work along existing trails around Stockton and Stockton Lake. It is a partnership between SCF, the US Army Corps of Engineers, the Stockton Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Stockton School District.

Brandy Lee Nichols & Charles Joseph Nichols Endowment Fund – This fund will support the CARE Animal Rescue.

Nuturing Hope Cancer Center Expansion Fund – The Ozarks Medical Center Foundation established this fund to support the cancer center’s expansion.

Jack, Mary, Philip & Kevin Nelson Scholarship Fund – Jane Gray Smith established this memorial scholarship which will award to a Clever HS student with a preference for those pursuing agriculture degree. This is a component fund of the Republic Community Foundation.

PB Rotary Club Endowment Fund – Three Rivers Endowment Trust established this revocable endowment to support their organization.

The PMC2 Fund (Paul Mueller Company Cares)  – Paul Mueller Company established this fund to support unmet emergency needs resulting from a sudden incident such as, but not limited to, accident, fire, tornado, medical issues.

Pulling for a Miracle Fund – Corey Wilson established this fund to support cancer patients.

Splash Fund – This fund established by Share the Harvest Food Pantry, Food for Morgan County, Ivey Bend Food Pantry and the Hope House will support each of those agencies as they assist with food for the needy. This is a component of the Community Foundation of the Lake.

Springfield 2025 – Higher Education Project Fund – This fund will support the community’s efforts for higher education through a Lumina Foundation grant.

Springfield St. Patrick’s Day Parade Fund – The Irish Festival Association established this organizational capacity fund to support its work and the parade.

Stanford University – High School Summer College Scholarship Fund – The Hulston Family Foundation established this fund which will support students from Southern Missouri attending the high school summer program.

Systematic Savings Bank Charitable Fund – This fund will support nonprofit organizations  at the bank’s recommendation.

TLC Student Funds Scholarship Fund – The TLC Student Fund agency established this scholarship fund for a graduating senior from the Marshfield School District who desires to attend higher education with a preference given to students who are first generation in their family to pursue higher education. It is a component of the Marshfield Area Community Foundation.

Viva Cuba Beautification Fund (VIVACU) – This organizational capacity fund will assist with the community beautification efforts of Viva Cuba. This is a new AP in the community development category, should be invested in cash and is a component of the Crawford County Foundation. This is also a Give Ozarks Fund.

Washington County Disaster Relief Fund – This fund will assist eligible nonprofits as a resource for disaster related efforts. This is a component of the Meramec Regional Community Foundation.

West Plains Elementary Equipment Fund – This fund established by the West Plains R-7 Educational Foundation will support the West Plains Elementary School. It is a component of the Community Foundation of West Plains.

Dr. Roger E. and Ella Mae Whaley Family Fund – Dr. Roger E. and Ella Mae established this donor advised fund to assist with their family giving. This is a component fund of the Lockwood Community Foundation.

Wildcat Glades Conservation & Audubon Center Capacity Fund – This fund will assist the center as it connects people to nature. It is a component of the Community Foundation of Southwest Missouri.

Dr. Anne Winkler Scholarship Endowment Fund – The Summit Preparatory School established this fund.
