New Funds Friday: March 16-29

Every Friday (or almost every Friday) we share the news of new groups and individuals choosing to make philanthropic gifts and investments in their community. 1842 Fund – The Neosho R-5 Charitable Foundation established this fund to assist with needs of the school district. They are a new Agency Partner in the education category, and this is a component fund of the Neosho Area Community Foundation.

Dr. Paul A. and Louise M. Brenner Scholarship Fund – The Gasconade County R-2 Schools (Owensville) established this scholarship fund.

Cantley English and Math Scholarship Fund – The Gasconade County R-2 Schools (Owensville) established this scholarship fund.

Good Samaritan Short Term Fund – This fund will support the mission and work of the Good Samaritan Boys Ranch.

Joplin South Middle School Youth Empowerment Fund – This fund will support youth-oriented projects in the Joplin area. This is a component fund of Community Foundation of Southwest Missouri and establishes a new YEP chapter.

Purdy Alumni Association Scholarship Fund – This scholarship fund will assist students graduating from Purdy High School.

Brooke H. Russell Memorial Fund – Kevin and Julissa Russell established this fund to honor their daughter’s memory. This is a component fund of Community Foundation of Southwest Missouri.

Three Rivers Endowment Fund – This fund will support the work of the foundation and college.

Austin Van Booven Memorial Scholarship Fund – The Gasconade County R-1 School District (Hermann) established this revocable endowment fund to honor Austin. This fund is a component of the Community Foundation of the Hermann Area.

Amanda Witthaus Memorial Scholarship Fund – The Gasconade County R-1 School District (Hermann) established this fund to honor Amanda. This fund is a component of the Community Foundation of the Hermann Area.
