New Funds Friday: Nov. 21

As often as possible, we like to share the news of new groups and individuals choosing to make philanthropic gifts and investments in their community. Bugtussle Foundation Fund – This will allow the family who established it to make charitable grants in their community.

Care to Learn – Bradleyville Fund – This fund will support students with emergency health, hunger and hygiene needs in the Bradleyville School District.

Cedar County Library District El Dorado Springs Building Fund – This fund will assist the El Dorado Springs branch. This is a component fund of the El Dorado Springs Community Foundation.

The Chatman Fund – Michael and Saundra Chatman established this fund to assist with their personal giving.

City of Monett Animal Shelter Fund – This fund will assist the City of Monett as it constructs a new animal shelter. This is a component fund of the Monett Area Community Foundation.

Crawford County Disaster Relief Fund – This fund established by the county will assist eligible nonprofits as a resource for disaster related efforts. It is a component of the Meramec Regional Community Foundation.

Dent County Disaster Relief Fund – This fund established by the county will assist eligible nonprofits as a resource for disaster related efforts. It is a component of the Meramec Regional Community Foundation.

First Baptist Church of Mt. Vernon Mission Fund – This endowment will support the mission work of the church. It is a component fund of the Mt. Vernon Area Community Foundation.

Phil and Billie Greer Educational Scholarship Fund – This scholarship fund was established by Phil Greer, Jim Greer and the BEST Foundation (Bettering Eminence Schools for Tomorrow).

Henry County Memory Fund – This fund will support unfunded needs of those with Alzheimer’s and dementia. This is a component fund of the Truman Lake Community Foundation.

Maries County Disaster Relief Fund – This fund will assist eligible nonprofits as a resource for disaster related efforts. It is a component of the Meramec Regional Community Foundation.

Options Unlimited Foundation – This fund will assist the donor to manage her charitable giving.

Osage County Disaster Relief Fund – This fund established by the county will assist eligible nonprofits as a resource for disaster related efforts. It is a component of the Meramec Regional Community Foundation.

Osage Trail Sculpture Fund – This fund was established by the Economic Development Group and Glen Tutterow to honor Native Americans and increase economic development via tourism. It is a component fund of the Crawford County Foundation.

Rural Schools Collaborative Fund – This fund will provide technical and practical assistance to rural school districts.

Southwest Cattlemen’s Association Fund – This fund will allow the association to accept charitable contributions while supporting the organizations important to them.

Southwest Cattlemen’s Association Scholarship Fund – This scholarship will provide financial support to agricultural based youth that pursuing an advanced degree in an agricultural area of study.

Springfield Area Retired Teachers Association Scholarship Fund – This scholarship fund will provide scholarships to students pursuing higher education from the five Springfield School District high schools.

Springfield Sculpture Walk Initiative Fund – This fund established by the Carollas and Scheniders will grant to the Springfield Regional Arts Council to promote the sculpture initiative.

TransLand Community Fund – This corporate grantmaking fund will help TransLand accept and manage their charitable donations.
