New Funds Friday: Oct. 28-Nov. 8

As often as possible, we like to share the news of new groups and individuals choosing to make philanthropic gifts and investments in their community. Forsyth Senior Friendship Center Fund  – This organizational capacity fund will support the work of the senior center.  This is also a component of the Community Foundation of Taney County.

The LaFerla Family Fund – This new legacy field-of-interest fund established by Don and Gloria LaFerla of Carthage will grant to healthcare and education-related projects. This is also a component of the Carthage Community Foundation.

Lambert C. Drury Memorial Scholarship Fund – This revocable endowment was established by the Three Rivers Endowment Trust.

Sarcoxie Band Booster Fund – This organizational capacity fund will support the work of the Band Boosters, and is a component fund of the Sarcoxie Schools Foundation and Sarcoxie Community Foundation.

Sarcoxie Project Graduation Fund – This organizational capacity fund will support the Project Graduation programming of the Sarcoxie Schools, and is a component fund of the Sarcoxie Schools Foundation and Sarcoxie Community Foundation.

Care to Learn-Hurley Fund – This field-of-interest fund will support hunger, hygiene and health needs of Hurley school students.

Koshkonong Youth Empowerment Fund – This field-of-interest capacity fund will support youth programs and projects, establishing a new YEP in the Koshkonong area.

Purdy Alumni Association Leroy Howard Scholarship Fund – The Purdy Alumni Association established this scholarship to assist Purdy High School graduates further their education.
