New Funds Friday: Sept. 11

As often as possible, we like to share the news of new groups and individuals choosing to make philanthropic gifts and investments in their community. 310 Foundation – This fund will help simplify giving for fund establishers Tammy Wilmsmeyer and Roger Wasson.

AWA Shelter Fund – This fund will support the work of the Animal Welfare Alliance of Southeast Missouri located in Poplar Bluff. It is a component of the Ozarks Foothills Community Foundation.

Care to Learn – Mountain Grove Fund – This fund will support hunger, hygiene and health emergency needs for students in the Mountain Grove school district.

Jim and Shirley Cook Scholarship Fund  – This fund, established by Shirley Cook and Beth Ipock, will assist students pursuing higher education in mechanical engineering, CNC programming, welding or machine tool technology.

John T. and Laura E. Dalton Scholarship Fund – This scholarship will award to a student from Gainesville High School who is a first generation college student with financial need. Preference will be given to a math or science major.

Down Syndrome Group of the Ozarks Endowment Fund – This = fund will support the group as it builds a network of support for individuals with Down Syndrome and those who love and serve them in southwest Missouri.

Down Syndrome Group of the Ozarks Fund – This fund will support the group as it assists those with Down Syndrome and those who love them.

Gathering Friends for the Homeless Fund – This fund will help support our homeless neighbors through meals and comfort items.

GHS Alumni Association Fund – This giving circle established by the Greenfield High School Alumni Association will allow the group to support educational and charitable projects and programs. This is a component of the DACO Community Foundation.

Good Samaritan Care Clinic Fund – This fund will support providing Christian-influenced health care for those in need through the clinic. They are a component of the Jacks Fork Community Foundation.

Greenfield Wildcat Schools Fund – This fund will support the Greenfield R-4 Schools. It is a component of the DACO Community Foundation.

Jared Family Fund – This fund established by the OTC Foundation will be used to assist the college by providing support in the area of greatest need. Invested in diversified.

Jeff Hansen Memorial Endowment Fund – The family of Jeff Hansen established this donor advised fund to honor his legacy long term.

Jeff Hansen Memorial Fund – This fund will help the family of Jeff Hansen memorialize and honor their father and husband, Jeff.

Thomas L. Hornbuckle Memorial Fund – This fund is part of Mr. Hornbuckle’s estate plan and will equally distribute to five of his favorite charities.

Little Joe Trust Scholarship Fund Endowment Fund – This scholarship fund will provide scholarships to graduating high school seniors from Cassville, Monett, Purdy, Southwest, Wheaton and Exeter.

Ozark Mountain Music Fund (Table Rock Lake)
Ozark Mountain Music Fund (Taney County) – These funds will support the group’s work to pass the traditional music of the Ozarks on to another generation of fiddlers. These are components of two different affiliates – Table Rock Lake Community Foundation and Community Foundation of Taney County.

Park Pride Fund – This fund will grant to the parks department and qualified vendors working on the beautification and maintenance of the park gardens. This is a component fund of the Community Foundation of the Hermann Area.

Perry County Community Foundation Administrative Capacity Fund – This fund will help with the administrative needs of the Perry County Community Foundation, and make other grants as needed.

Marlin and Jean Pinnell Annual Scholarship Fund – This scholarship fund was established by Patricia Pinnell and Pam Youngblood for graduates of Diamond High School majoring in education at any accredited post-secondary school. It is a component fund of the Carthage Community Foundation.

“Project Bat” Fund – This fund will grant to qualified entities to provide a super hero visit or encouragement to infirmed and underserved children.

Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Ozarks, Inc. Fund – This fund will help create, fund and support programs that directly improve the health and well-being of children in the Ozarks.

SA SGT Peters Memorial Scholarship Fund – The OTC Foundation established this scholarship fund in memory of Special Agent Sergeant Joseph Peters, an OTC alumni who lost his life while deployed with the U.S. Army in Afghanistan.

Curtis Dick Snow Memorial Scholarship Fund – This scholarship fund established in memory of Mr. Snow, a near life-long resident of Adrian, Mo., and long-time teacher in the Adrian School District, will award to an Adrian student pursuing a degree in Education, Agriculture or Music.  It is a component of the Truman Lake Community Foundation.

Strafford School Foundation Technology Fund – This fund will support the school district’s technology efforts.

The Truman Lake Community Support Fund – This fund will assist the donor/fund establisher to be anonymous and simplify his/her charitable giving. This is a component of the Truman Lake Community Foundation.

Jean Twitty Charitable Fund – Jean Twitty established this fund to assist with her personal giving.

West Plains Arts Council Fund – This fund will assist the council as it provides assistance to arts endeavors in the West Plains area since 1975. It is a component of the Community Foundation of West Plains, Inc.

Wonderland Camp Endowment Fund – This fund helps provide fun, educational summer camp experience for campers of all ability levels and ages. This is a component of the Community Foundation of the Lake.
