The Community Foundation of the Ozarks is now accepting applications for the second group of participants for “Strengthening Our Communities,” a strategic-planning process developed by the University of Missouri Extension’s ExCEED program.
This year, the CFO is offering the program at no cost to two communities: the Owensville area in central Missouri, and the Clinton/Henry County area in our region covered by the Truman Lake Community Foundation. These programs are designed to bring community members together for a series of about 12 sessions over the course of a year or so. The program will focus on the community’s leadership development, asset mapping, data analysis, goal setting and measurement. The goal is to create an action plan for the community with associated goals, outcomes and performance measures.
