Today’s “Making a Difference” segment on Springfield’s public radio station KSMU looked at how agencies use the Community Focus report produced every other year to examine Springfield-Greene County’s red flags and blue ribbons.
Grantmakers, like the CFO, and service providers like Community Partnership of the Ozarks, talked about how they use the report to make decisions on funding and resource priorities. The Community Focus report is facilitated by Dr. Cristina Gilstrap at Drury University with more than 100 volunteers on the various chapter and steering committees. It is sponsored by the CFO, the Junior League of Springfield, the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce, the Springfield-Greene County Library District, and the United Way of the Ozarks.
The report is available online at springfieldcommunityfocus.org.
