Dine Out to Support Saving the Historic Riverside Bridge in Ozark

The backers of an effort to save the historic Riverside Bridge in Ozark, who hold their fund with the CFO, are encouraging other supporters to dine at Texas Roadhouse on May 6-8 when a portion of proceeds will be donated to the effort.

Diners need to tell the wait staff they are supporters of the “Save the Riverside Bridge” group and the restaurant will donate 10 percent of the food purchased to the effort.

Texas Roadhouse is located at 255 E. Monastery St. in south Springfield.

The group wants to raise funds to renovate the Riverside Bridge for pedestrian and bicycle use and for future maintenance. The fund is a component of the Finley River Community Foundation, the CFO’s affiliate for the Ozark area.

Supporters also can make tax-deductible contributions directly to the effort through an online donation marking “Save the Riverside Bridge” in the fund/program box, or by sending a check to:
