Dine out for a great cause during Earth Week April 17-23 when participating Springfield restaurants will offer up a percentage of sales that will be matched up to $5,000 by the CFO.
The funds raised this week through “Earth on Your Plate” will benefit the James River Basin Partnership, Ozark Greenways and the Watershed Committee of the Ozarks.
Green Chef Andy Revella will host a workshop for the staffs of the participating restaurants on April 20. The restaurants have agreed to donate 10 percent of proceeds raised during certain shifts this week.
The Community Foundation of the Ozarks will match up to $5,000 of the donations by the restaurants as part of its commitment to conserve and protect land and water in our region.
