The Greater Seymour Area Foundation recently awarded $8,900 in grants to a 13 Seymour and Webster County area organizations as part of their Spring 2013 grant round. It is the largest single-year grant distribution the GSAF has made since its inception nearly 14 years ago, according to the Webster County Citizen. As of June 30, 2012, the GSAF had distributed more than $480,000 back into the community since its inception.
On Feb. 28, 2013, GSAF board members Janice Blankenship, Renee Wallace and Charlie Heywood presented checks to all 13 agencies. Please join us in congratulating the GSAF and its board on a wonderful grant round.
