CFO, Go Lead, the Springfield-Greene County Library, and the United Way of the Ozarks will host a free seminar titled “Managing in Tough Times” focused on helping your nonprofit organization meet the challenges of today’s difficult economic environment.
Thursday, February 26, 2009, 10:00 AM until 3 PM, Kentwood Hall, 700 St. Louis St. (lunch provided).
Non-profits in the Ozarks are facing difficult challenges as demand for services has increased, and funding has become even more scarce. This seminar is designed to help our important non-profit partners meet those challenges. Local civic and non-profit leaders will share their own experiences, and answer questions in facilitated discussions on finance, personnel, organization, and planning related issues.
Luncheon Keynote: Anne Hindery Camp, CEO of Nonprofit Association of the Midlands, based in Omaha, NE. Ms Camp has a unique background in nonprofits, philanthropy, and community work, including experience as director for Alegent Community Benefit Trust, program director for Omaha Community Foundation, and law enforcement coordinator for the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
Seating is limited, and reservations required. Please call Suzanne Grammar at Community Foundation of the Ozarks at 864-6199 to register or email her at Sgrammer@cfozarks.org. We would ask that no more than two from each non-profit attend to insure widespread participation for our Ozarks’ nonprofits.
