New Funds Friday: March 30-April 12

Every Friday (or almost every Friday) we share the news of new groups and individuals choosing to make philanthropic gifts and investments in their community. Care to Give Fund – Jackson and Susan Luker established this family and community fund to assist with their personal giving. It is a component of the Table Rock Lake Community Foundation.

Paul W. Cox and Ida Kathleen Cox Charitable Trust– This fund came to the CFO via bequest. It is a new Legacy Fund.

Hamra Family Foundation– This fund will assist Mr. and Mrs. Sam Hamra with their personal charitable giving.

Joplin Tomorrow Fund – This fund will support the work of long range planning for Joplin. This is a new Agency Partner in the community development category and is a component of Community Foundation of Southwest Missouri.

Poplar Bluff Historic Depot Restoration Fund – This fund will hold some monies for the Poplar Bluff Historic Depot Restoration Corporation. This is a new Agency Partner in the history category and is a component of the Ozark Foothills Regional Community Foundation.

Sinclair and Jane Rogers Scholarship Fund – This scholarship fund will assist graduates of Monett High School pursuing a major and career in Business and/or Media Arts. This is a component fund of the Monett Area Community Foundation.

Pauline Schenewark Wheeler Endowment Fund – People for Animal Welfare Services (PAWS) of Clinton established this fund due to a bequest they received. It is an additional Agency Partner fund for PAWS and a component of the Truman Lake Community Foundation.
