The Community Foundation of the Ozarks is partnering with Children’s Trust Fund to launch a $670,000 grant program to support nonprofits that prevent, identify or treat child abuse and neglect in the CFO’s service area of central and southern Missouri.
Through the Facility Improvement and Infrastructure Grant Program, agencies can apply for up to $100,000 to fund improvements to facilities and information technology such as:
- Equipment and furniture
- Renovations to waiting rooms or common areas
- Equipment for exam rooms
- Software and hardware needs
- Cybersecurity needs
- Security systems
- Networks, servers and storage devices
Projects promoting or encouraging the use of restraints or isolation will not be considered.
Agencies can begin the application process at cfozarks.org/applyforgrants. The deadline to apply is Thursday, Oct. 26, with grant recipients to be announced in December.
As Missouri’s foundation for child abuse prevention, the Children’s Trust Fund’s primary responsibility is to provide grants to community-based agencies and organizations throughout the state that focus on strengthening families and preventing child maltreatment.
