Agencies can apply for up to $10,000 to support events, public art and more.
The Arts and Culture Program Support program, totaling $120,000, is now open to Springfield Regional Arts Council member agencies across its 27-county service area in southwest Missouri. The program is supported by the Community Foundation of the Ozarks and the Jeannette L. Musgrave Foundation, along with $30,000 in hotel/motel tax funds dedicated to Springfield-based agencies.
Agencies may apply for up to $10,000 in programming support, including funding for events, performances, classes, readings, outreach activities, exhibitions, public art, collaborative partnership projects and other programmatic strategies. To be eligible, agencies must be members of SRAC and a 501(c)3 nonprofit or a municipal, educational or faith-based organization with similar tax-exempt status with a primary mission in the arts.
Agencies can find more information and begin the application process at cfozarks.org/applyforgrants. The deadline is 11:45 p.m. on April 17.
Grants will be determined by SRAC’s arts and culture grant review committee. Recipients will be announced in early June.
