System Switch HQ
Your go-to resource for the CFO’s transition to a new financial system.
Your go-to resource for the CFO’s transition to a new financial system.
Providing charitable resources for donors, nonprofits and communities requires not just meaningful relationships and collaboration, but also a strong financial and donor management system. Though our outgoing system has served us reliably for more than 20 years, it is showing its age — and, as technology has advanced, it’s a good time to make a switch.
In early July, we transitioned to a system called Community Suite — or CSuite, for short — by Foundant Technologies. For years, we have relied on other Foundant services to manage our grantmaking and scholarship programs. The switch to CSuite brings all of our back-office systems under one roof, allowing our staff to more efficiently and effectively serve our donors, nonprofit partners and regional affiliate foundations.
Our intent is to make this switch as seamless as possible for you. Below, you’ll find important information based on your relationship to the CFO that will be updated as the transition is made and new services are introduced.
Information will be added as new features become accessible.
Now available! For holders of donor-advised, scholarship, benevolence and agency partner funds — Find information on gifts and grants/distributions along with a new system to easily request grants from your fund (if applicable).
Now available! For affiliate board leaders — A new affiliate portal to find information for all funds held under a regional affiliate foundation.
Now available! The new online donation system is fully integrated into our financial system. With a shopping cart-style format, this allows donors to give to multiple funds with a single, simple and secure credit card transaction. For fundholders and nonprofit partners, those gifts are posted instantly to funds and reflected in activity statements in realtime. Each regional affiliate foundation also has its own donation page with unique groupings of funds held under the affiliate.
Need the direct link to a fund? Simply locate the fund on the full list (or the affiliate foundation’s list), click donate, and then copy the URL in your browser’s address field. You can then share that link with donors or post to a website or social media.
Your login credentials for DonorCentral will not work on Fund Manager. Before you can access Fund Manager, you must activate your account on using the unique link included in the email from no-reply@fcsuite.com. During that process, you’ll create a new password (your username will be the email address which received the account-activation email). We highly recommend you save the new password. If you have the DonorCentral login page bookmarked, we recommend removing that and creating a new bookmark for the Fund Manager login page.
The link in the account-activation email expires after you activate your account on Fund Manager. Once you have activated your account, use this link to login: cfozarks.fcsuite.com/erp/fundmanager
If you use DonorCentral to view fund activity, new activity after July 1 will not be available as it will be tracked in the new system. Access to a new donor portal, where all fund activity will be available, will open in mid-July. A few items of note:
Our staff is tracking these grants and will begin processing them in the new system beginning July 6.
You will need to establish a new recurring gift to the same fund on our new donation platform. When we receive notification of your new recurring gift, we will cancel the old recurring gift. Please contact us with any questions or if you believe you have been billed twice in the same period (once with the old recurring gift and again with the new recurring gift).
Keep scrolling! A grantee summary list appears before the list of individual grants. If your fund has an extensive grant history, you may have to scroll down through the summary to find the individual grants. We also recommend searching the page by pressing control+F (or command+F on a Mac) and searching for “grants.”
