Two New Significant Funds Established with Truman Lake Community Foundation

Two new significant funds have been created as component funds of the Truman Lake Community Foundations. The Lovella Hilty Memorial Scholarship, established by Joe, John and Shawn Hilty, will provide scholarships for Clinton High School graduates based on scholarship, citizenship and financial need with no emphasis on one criterion above another.

Mr. John Browning established a $100,000 designated endowment, The John B. Browning Fund, which will support the Appleton City Landmarks Restoration, Inc. for maintenance, improvement and operation of the Appleton City, Mo Museum.

The Truman Lake Community Foundation affilaited with the Community Foundation of the Ozarks in the spring of 2000. Since that time, TLCF has grown to 50 component funds with assets of approximately $4 million. For more information on TLCF, please click here.
